Five Townhouses

Abuja, Nigeria

On a precipitous sloping site with spectacular views of Abuja, Nigeria a five-unit development was conceived.

In response to these natural conditions, rhythm and the sense of lightness were the determining factors in the architectural forms.

The oversized cantilevers give the sensation of movement while providing much needed shade. The curving walls give a sense of shelter and movement.

Building materials consist of cooper roofing, cement block with stucco and glass.
