The Noble Home is located in the reclaimed (from the sea) neighborhood of Lekki a suburb of Lagos, Nigeria.
The lot is narrow and long which made it necessary to design a long, thin building. We introduced a long, curved wall that runs the length of the house. This wall reduces the impact of the shallow width of the house by creating an illusion of increasing width.
The curved wall is made mainly of glass at the ground/living room level. The main staircase also has a glass block wall that lets in filtered light throughout the house.
All windows in the house are floor to ceiling which creates a very thin, light building. The bright exterior and interior colors compliment the airiness of the house.
